Infineon’s PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer kit is a low-cost hardware platform for HMI application development using the PSoC 4100S Max device.
Infineon's PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer kit lets users evaluate all the PSoC 4100S Max microcontroller (CY8C4149AZI-S598) features. The kit contains two boards: the PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer board and the capacitive sensing expansion board. The PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer board comprises a PSoC 4100S Max MCU, an onboard programmer/debugger (KitProg3), voltage regulators, user LEDs and buttons, CAPSENSE™ buttons, a thermistor, a micro-B connector for USB device interface, crystal oscillators, and other passives. The capacitive sensing expansion board consists of a CAPSENSE touchpad, slider, and proximity sensors.
The PSoC 4100S Max MCU features a 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, 384 KB of Flash, 32 KB of SRAM, programmable analog blocks including a 12-bit SAR ADC, programmable digital blocks, cryptography accelerators, a CAN-FD interface, excellent capacitive-sensing with CAPSENSE, and 84 GPIOs. It is a true programmable embedded system on chip (SoC) with flexible automatic routing, integrating custom digital and analog peripheral functions, memory, and the Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU with a 5th generation CAPSENSE multi-sense converter (MSC), a capacitive sensing system with powerful performance.
The PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer kit comes with capacitive sensing interfaces, including buttons, a slider, a touchpad, and a proximity sensor.
